CRITICAL SEO
Recovery After Hacker Attack
The problem
It usually starts with a symptom, not an alarm. Strange pages appearing in Google under your domain. A security warning in Search Console. Visitors reporting redirects to sites you have never seen. Browsers flagging your website as dangerous. Or simply traffic falling and nobody knows why.
By the time a hack becomes visible, the attackers have usually been inside for a while. Injected code, spam pages, hidden links, and backdoors spread through files and databases. Google starts indexing the spam, flagging the site, or quietly demoting it. Customers who see a warning screen do not come back to check if you fixed it.
The damage compounds daily. Every day the infection stays live, more spam gets indexed, more trust is lost with Google, and more visitors are turned away at the door.
Google shows a "this site may be hacked" or security warning
Search Console reports a security issue or manual action
Strange pages, often in foreign languages, are indexed under your domain
Your website redirects visitors to spam or scam sites
Browsers or antivirus tools block access to your site
Traffic and sales dropped and cleaning attempts have not helped
Why this is hard
Most hack recoveries fail for two reasons, and neither is a lack of effort.
The first is incomplete discovery. Developers remove what is visible, the obvious malicious file, the spam pages, and consider the site clean. But nobody has established the full scope: how long the attackers were inside, everything they touched, and what traces they left behind. Attackers plant backdoors precisely so they can return after a cleanup, and every reinfection costs you more trust with Google.
The second is treating it as only a security problem. Even when the technical cleanup is done well, nobody deals with the SEO aftermath: thousands of indexed spam URLs, injected links pointing at your site, warnings that need formal review with Google, and rankings that were lost while the site was compromised. The infection is gone, but the damage remains, and it does not fix itself.
We have been through this ourselves. Our own website was hit by a malware injection disguised as legitimate CDN code. We know from the inside how these attacks hide, how they return, and what a complete recovery actually requires. That experience is exactly what we bring to your team: we do not replace your developers or security specialists, we make sure nothing gets missed.
Don’t stop at the cleanup.
Removing the infection is only part of the recovery. We’ll uncover the SEO damage, clean up what Google sees and help restore lost visibility.
A cleaned website is not a protected website. Once your site is secure and recovered, SEO Monitoring & Prevention keeps watch: monthly security scanning, anomaly alerts, and full Search Console oversight, so the next attempt gets caught before it becomes a crisis.
How we solve it
We do not touch your code. Your developers and security team resolve the breach; we make sure they see the whole picture, and we repair everything the attack did to your presence in Google.
We uncover the full scope of the damage
What is indexed under your domain, what was injected, what is flagged, what is demoted, and how far the compromise reaches. We assemble the complete damage picture from Google’s side and from the site’s data, so the cleanup is based on evidence, not on what happens to be visible.

The injected code remained inactive for logged-in administrators, making the website appear clean during routine checks.
