This Cookie Policy explains how “Katerina 7” OOD uses cookies and similar technologies on back2rank.com (the Website).

It applies to the public Website. It does not cover the authenticated Back2Rank Client Portal, which will be governed by separate privacy information and the applicable client service agreement.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. They can allow a website to function securely, remember a choice, distinguish one browser from another or understand how visitors use different pages.

Similar technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags, scripts and identifiers. In this Policy, cookies means both cookies and comparable technologies that store or access information on a device.

Cookies may be:

  • First-party cookies, set through back2rank.com; or

  • Third-party cookies, set or read by an external provider whose technology appears on the Website.

They may also be:

  • Session cookies, which normally expire when you close your browser; or

  • Persistent cookies, which remain until their stated expiry date or until you delete them.

3. Categories used on the Website

The Website uses two categories of cookies and similar technologies.

Strictly necessary and security technologies

These technologies are required to deliver the Website, protect it against malicious traffic and spam, process requested form submissions, remember your privacy choices and provide functionality you request.

They are not used to measure your browsing for analytics or advertising. Because they are necessary for a service or function you request, they are not controlled through the optional analytics setting. You may still block them through your browser, but parts of the Website or its security controls may stop working correctly.

Analytics technologies

Analytics technologies help us understand how visitors find and use the Website, identify usability problems and improve its performance. They include Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.

Analytics technologies are optional. They are disabled unless you give consent through the Website’s consent controls. Refusing analytics does not prevent you from using the public Website.

The Website does not currently use a separate marketing or advertising-cookie category.

4. Cookie and technology inventory

The tables below describe the technologies expected from the confirmed Website configuration. Some security cookies are issued only when a specific security feature or challenge is triggered. Browser restrictions, provider changes and Website configuration may affect whether a cookie appears and how long it remains.

4.1 Strictly necessary and security technologies

Cookie or technology Provider Purpose Typical duration
Consent preference record Back2Rank and the selected consent-management platform Records whether you accepted or rejected analytics and helps the Website respect that choice Up to 6 months. The exact identifier must be inserted after the consent platform is deployed
__cf_bm Cloudflare Helps Cloudflare identify and mitigate automated or malicious traffic when an applicable Cloudflare bot-protection feature is active 30 minutes after continuous inactivity
cf_clearance Cloudflare Stores proof that a visitor successfully completed a Cloudflare security challenge so the challenge does not need to be repeated immediately For the challenge-passage period configured in Cloudflare
_GRECAPTCHA Google reCAPTCHA Supports risk analysis used to distinguish legitimate form submissions from spam or automated abuse Set when reCAPTCHA is executed. The exact duration must be confirmed from the live implementation

Cloudflare may use additional short-lived security cookies when a challenge, rate-limiting rule, load-balancing feature, waiting room or availability feature is activated. These are used only for the relevant security or delivery function. The live inventory must be updated if any such feature is enabled on the Website.

Google states that reCAPTCHA sets _GRECAPTCHA as a necessary cookie when it runs. Depending on the Google domain and reCAPTCHA implementation used, Google may also access other security-related cookies. The live implementation should use the narrowest configuration that provides the required form protection.

4.2 Analytics technologies

The following technologies are used only after analytics consent.

Cookie or technology Provider Purpose Typical duration
_ga Google Analytics 4 Distinguishes browsers and supports measurement of Website use 2 years by default
_ga_<container-id> Google Analytics 4 Maintains session state for the relevant Google Analytics property 2 years by default
_clck Microsoft Clarity Stores a pseudonymous Clarity user identifier and preferences for this Website Typically 1 year
_clsk Microsoft Clarity Connects page views into a single Clarity session reconstruction Typically 1 day
CLID Microsoft Clarity Identifies when Clarity first encountered a browser on a website using Clarity Typically 1 year
ANONCHK Microsoft Clarity Indicates whether the Microsoft browser identifier is transferred to another Microsoft identifier. Clarity states that this value is set to 0 Typically 10 minutes
MR Microsoft Clarity Indicates whether the Microsoft browser identifier should be refreshed Typically 7 days
MUID Microsoft Distinguishes browsers visiting Microsoft services for analytics and operational purposes Typically up to 13 months
SM Microsoft Clarity Supports synchronization of the Microsoft browser identifier across Microsoft domains Session

Google and Microsoft may change cookie names, behavior or default durations. The live Cookie Settings panel and the most recent scan of the deployed Website should be treated as the current technical inventory where a provider-controlled detail changes.

5. Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager helps us manage Website tags. It is a delivery and configuration layer rather than a separate analytics service and does not independently create the Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity cookies listed above.

The Tag Manager container must respect the consent status communicated by the Website’s consent controls. It must not load Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity or another optional tool before the relevant consent is available.

6. How consent works

When the consent interface is shown, you can:

  1. accept analytics;

  2. reject analytics; or

  3. review the available settings before choosing.

Analytics is off by default. No optional category is preselected. Accepting and rejecting must be presented as equally accessible choices.

Your decision applies to the browser and device on which it was made. You may be asked again if you delete the consent record, use another browser or device, or when the consent period expires.

7. Changing or withdrawing your choice

You can change or withdraw your analytics consent at any time through the Cookie Settings link available in the Website footer.

Withdrawal prevents optional analytics technologies from being loaded or used on future page views. Where technically supported, analytics cookies already stored by the Website should also be removed when consent is withdrawn. You may need to reload the page for the new setting to take full effect.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

8. Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to view, delete or block cookies through their settings. Blocking all cookies may affect Website security, prevent consent choices from being remembered or stop a protected form from working correctly.

Browser settings operate separately from the Website’s consent controls. Deleting cookies through your browser may cause the Website to ask for your choice again.

Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, but the Website’s Cookie Settings remain the primary way to control analytics on back2rank.com.

9. Personal data and international transfers

Some cookies and similar technologies process information that qualifies as personal data, including online identifiers, device and browser data, approximate location and interaction information.

Cloudflare, Google and Microsoft or members of their groups may process information outside Bulgaria or the European Economic Area. Our Privacy Policy explains the purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention approach, international-transfer safeguards and your data-protection rights.

We do not use cookie data to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects for you.

10. Provider information

More information about the technologies described in this Policy is available from:

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the Website, consent controls, security configuration, analytics tools or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with its latest revision date.

We will review the cookie inventory after material Website changes and periodically against the deployed configuration.

12. Contact
