We’ve entered our new website in the Company Website category. Public voting closes October 29.

Back2Rank is competing in Bulgaria’s Website of the Year 2026 in the Company Website category. Public voting is open until October 29, 2026, and the awards ceremony takes place on November 3.

Why we entered

We call Back2Rank the SEO emergency room. We recover rankings and traffic after hacker attacks, Google penalties, and failed migrations. Our own website is a fair test of whether we follow the advice we give clients.

I founded the agency as MAX Digital in 2022. In August 2026, we rebranded to Back2Rank and moved from maxdigital.bg to back2rank.com. Our new logo combines a shield and an upward arrow to represent protection and recovery. We also rebuilt the website around the information clients need before and during a project.

Entering the competition puts that work in front of people outside our team. The jury evaluates programming, design, marketing, regulatory compliance, and accessibility under published criteria. Their assessment can show us where the website needs more work. The public vote gives clients, partners, and other visitors a say too.

What we built, and why it matters for clients

The rebuild covered the move to the new domain, the content people read, and how clients keep track of their projects. These five parts of the rebuild show what we wanted the site to do.

A mapped migration from the old domain

We mapped every old URL to its new destination and set up a 301 redirect, which tells browsers and search engines that a page has moved permanently. We followed the same migration process we use for clients, so anyone following an old link could reach the relevant page after the move.

A website in Bulgarian and English

Most of our clients are outside Bulgaria, so the website is available in both Bulgarian and English. Clients and agency partners can read about our services and how we work in the language they use with us.

SEO explanations people can use

Our SEO Knowledge Base contains 51 plain-language entries across seven sections. Business owners can use it to look up terms in a report, prepare questions for their team, or understand a recommendation before approving the work.

Project status available at any time

The Client Hub lets clients check their project’s status at any time. During a recovery, clients need to know where the work stands. They shouldn’t have to arrange a meeting just to get an update.

A clear structure for people and search systems

We organized the pages into a clear structure and added structured data, which labels information so search systems can interpret it. The content explains what we do and supports the site’s visibility in Google and AI search. We apply the same approach to client websites, making the information understandable and giving the site a sound technical foundation.

My role on the jury

I also sit on the jury in the Programming track. I’ve declared my conflict of interest to the organizers, and I do not evaluate Back2Rank’s website.
